The system operates through a powerful gearbox and toggle mechanism, which expands the expander shoes into a perfectly round configuration. Once in place, custom-threaded Acme screws generate tremendous pressure, forcing the pipe back into round while maintaining control and accuracy. During operation, 90% of the pipe surface remains in contact with the shoes, ensuring uniform expansion and preventing localized stress or damage.
