COMPANY ROOTS
Sawyer Manufacturing Company was established in 1948 and has 70-plus years of manufacturing expertise and experience. From the beginning, Sawyer has been designing, engineering and manufacturing pipeline and welding equipment to fulfill the needs of the pipeline industry.
In 1965, Sawyer expands its distribution and begins to manufacture and sell equipment under the Sawyer brand, instead of solely manufacturing equipment for other companies.
EXPANSION
In 2012, Sawyer broke ground on a new 54,000 square foot facility the company now resides in, effectively doubling the manufacturing space with room for continued expansion.
In 2013, Sawyer acquired PSW Constultants, LTD of the United Kingdom, creating a global enterprise encompassing both the U.S.-based Sawyer brand and the European-based Pipeswizard brand of welding and pipeline equipment.
SAWYER FABRICATION
In 2016, Sawyer established, Sawyer Fabrication, a new division focused on custom metal fabrication with a 20,000 sq. ft. heavy weld bay. Sawyer Fabrication is ASME certified with R & U stamps and fully outfitted for piping systems, skids, and heavy structural weld, along with conventional and custom machining.
