The improved Battery Ready Motorized Kit for the Band Crawler.

Sawyer’s Battery Ready Motor Kit is a practical upgrade for the Band Crawler. It converts a manual Band Crawler into an electric motor drive that runs on the included 110/220V AC adapter. It can also be powered by a 20V DeWalt-style battery when AC power is not preferred or available. Battery is not supplied. This gives users the option to run the kit from standard AC power or add battery power when more flexibility is needed on the job site.

The Motor Kit helps improve cut quality, consistency, and productivity. The industrial-grade brushless motor provides reliable power for flame or plasma cutting. Intelligent speed control allows the operator to make smooth, controlled adjustments during cutting and beveling. The kit is designed to make the Band Crawler easier to use while keeping setup simple and dependable.

Each Battery Ready Motor Kit includes the main components needed to upgrade the crawler, including the brushless motor, control box, extension cord, mounting bracket, and AC adapter. The mounting bracket and connector allow the motor kit to attach to the crawler, creating a straightforward motorized setup.

The control box is made from high-visibility yellow polymide and includes a carrying handle for easier handling. Shielded magnets allow the control box to attach to the pipe during use, helping keep the work area organized. The kit also includes water-, arctic-, and flame-resistant extension cords and plugs for use in demanding job site conditions. A durable cast aluminum motor mount adds strength and stability.
